System Accountant (m/f/d) - #1120473

We are looking for a qualified accountant to join the UK Sales Accounting team in the role of System Accountant and take the lead in improving processes across SEFE Energy in the United Kingdom, France, and Netherlands. With a focus on embedding a culture of continuous improvement you will focus on developing strong data governance, improved modelling, and efficiency together with supporting and contributing to key projects.

• Lead process improvement change across the whole accounting team


• Create and own a roadmap of continuous improvement


• Enhance processes from being excel based to SQL based where possible


• Embed a culture of change and strong data/process management


• Provide support and contribute to various ongoing business-wide projects including how they impact current accounting processes


• Develop a deep understanding of the various business units to provide support to team members

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) with proven post qualification experience and be Lean / Six Sigma qualified. You will also have

• Excellent IT skills, with advanced Microsoft excel knowledge and experience of using SQL demonstrated by your ability to manipulate large data sets and both create and improve models


• An excellent understanding of financial processes, with the ability to challenge the status quo to drive change and improvements


• Well-developed communication skills with the confidence to position thoughts and ideas


• A growth mindset with a proactive approach and self-motivation
